iPhone 3G Screen Repair Overview

Overview:  The iPhone 3G glass and LCD screen repair can be completed by most people with avarage technical ability.  The iPhone 3G screen is made up of 3 core layers which is the glass/digitizer, midframe, and LCD.  You first need to determine which components are broken.  If the glass is broken but the LCD screen still displays the image correctly then you only need the glass/digitizer component.  If both the glass is broken and the LCD is not displaying correctly, then you need both the glass/digitizer and LCD.

iPhone Screen Replacement

The iPhone screen components are layered in the following order.  The glass/digitizer is fixed to the midframe with double sided tape.  The LCD attaches to the bottom side of the mid-frame.  It's critical no dust or debris gets between the screen and the LCD as this will be visible when the iPhone is powered on.

If glass/digitizer is cracked or the touch functionality does not work you require the glass/digitizer part
For severe drops, you could require both the glass/digitizer screen and LCD

If the LCD display does not light up or certain parts of the screen do not display then you require the LCD part
The parts between the 3G and 3Gs are not compatible between the two model iPhones

iPhone Screen Repair Overview

Overview:  The iPhone 4 screen manufacturing process is different than the iPhone 3G 3Gs.  The LCD is fused to the glass/digitizer so you don't have the option of just replacing individual components.  To properly replace the iPhone screen, you need the whole assembly that includes the glass/digitizer and LCD in a single unit.  More iPhone Screen Repair details can be found on www.iMobileDoctor.com.

iPhone Screen repairs are one of the most common repairs for iPhones at the moment.

How can we prevent the iPhone screen from breaking or becoming damaged in a fall? The short answer is that there isn't anything that will definitively stop the screen cracking or breaking. All we can do is try to minimise the impact in case of a fall. A rubber case for the back provides a good deal of impact protection in the event of a fall. The bumpers for the iPhone 4 also provide a degree of shock protection.

The other positive to a rubber case is it helps it grip to what ever surface it is sat/lay on or whichever pocket it is in.  When iPhone screens do break they look a lot worse than they are and look like the phone is broke beyond repair.

The iPhone is surprisingly quite hardy and resilient to falls and breaking but we tend to drop them quite often and also when they do fall they tend to have a habit of falling on something sharp like the corner of a step.  All we can do is try to minimise the impact in case of a fall. A rubber case for the back provides a good deal of impact protection in the event of a fall. The bumpers for the iPhone 4 also provide a degree of shock protection.

It is easy to lump iPhone 3G  and 3Gs together because as the name suggests, the 3Gs is an upgrade from its predecessor, not deserving of a more unique title.  This helps the overall process of fixing these phones similar in many ways, although before any repair do your research so you know what your are getting into.  When ready we recommend contacting www.iMobileDoctor.com.  They also have an option for Fargo iPhone repair.  Basically, don’t read about how to fix a 3G if you own a 3Gs.  One way in which these phones have something in common is screen repair. While the parts are not the same necessarily, the process in which one performs a DIY repair is very similar.
Yes, we can fix that. While iPhone 4 water damage can be very bad, we can typically repair over 90% the phones. The big issue is corrosion but there are ways to avoid it. When your iPhone 4 gets wet you should take the back casing off. Then take the battery and SIM card out. Put it in a bag of rise. Or you can blow with hair dryer (on low). Or you can just let it sit with noted parts removed.

iPhone Repair Fargo - Professional Service
I am so glad I found this company and was told they also do mail in diagnostics from customers worldwide and they feel fortunate that they are able to also help local customers in the Fargo iPhone repair area. They were very proud in the fact that they were the first iPhone repair company in Sacramento and that they not only have a local market of customers to service but also they have a nationwide and worldwide presence repairing and selling iPhone parts to customers. I was impressed by their story and the knowledge they possessed with the iPhone that they have gained my trust and business from now on. If you have an iPhone and need iPhone parts I know to contact iMobileDoctor.com

An iPhone 3Gs repair is much the same story, as broken glass can be an easier type of DIY repair but LCD damage can be much more difficult. Overall, fixing a 3G iPhone will cost a little more than the 3G.

It always amazes me how so many people will pay the expense for the repair of the iPhone and miss out on the opportunity to take advantage of Fargo iPhone repair.
If your iphone is need of repair and you are seeking the services of a phone repair specialist take a moment and consider the alternatives that can be extremely beneficial to you, saving you not only money and time but also giving you confidence of your personal data on the iPhone when carrying out the repair. The main alternative option to the repair expense of an iPhone, but seems to be overlooked by many people is to repair the broken iPhone yourself, in the comfort of your own home instead of shedding it out to pay for unnecessary repair fees.
